Research Interests: My research interests are evolution, virology, and population genetics. My current research is quantifying virus-driven adaptation in Myotis bat genomes. Our lab aims to identify ancient viral epidemics in Myotis by using genetics as a tool to understand the evolutionary history of viral exposure in these bats
